For my project, I will be working in Abington Hospital with my VoTech class. The mentor that I have for this portion of the project is Linda Kalita, who is also my teacher for tech. Over the course of the year, I will be spending two days a week at the hospital, learning and helping out. This will help to demonstrate my topic because my topic is on Schizophrenia, a disease of the mind. Although I will not have a rotation in the psyc-ward, this still relates to my projects because it is about mental health, or also health care which is such a large field. Although I will not be in the psyc-ward, I will still experience people who have mental diseases throughout the hospital.
